Club news 7/4/25
U8 Hurling training continues on Mondays 6:30-7:30 at Emmett Park. U10/12 Training is also on Monday from 6-7pm U14/16 Hurling is also on Monday from 7pm. Equipment is supplied, new players are welcome.
U12 Boys Football Tuesday 7-8pm Emmett Park,, The boys put in a great performance vs Enniskillen Gaels last week.
Well done to the U16 Boys who had a great comeback to grab a draw vs Tempo last week
There is an Easter camp on from Wednesday the 23rd to Friday 25th of April. Check Socials for details..
Well done to the Excellent U10.5 boys who played really well in Newtownbutler at the blitz on Saturday.
U14 Boys Football Thursday 7-8pm Emmett Park. Well done to our Div1 team who recorded a great win away to Kinawley. The Div 3 team put up a great battle vs Devenish. Its fantastic to see the club fielding two full squads at this grade.
P6/7 U 11.5 Girls Football Emmett Park Tuesday 6-7 pm U14 Girls training Tuesday 6-7pm Emmett Park .
P4/5 girls football is on Wednesdays, 6-7pm. At Emmett Park. Well done to the girls on a great days football in Maguiresbridge on Saturday.
U16 Girls training is on Thursdays at Emmett Park 7-8pm. New players welcome.
More Development this week at Emmett Park… The stand side fencing has been upgraded. 100 trees have been planted and our new shop has opened for the 1st time. “Roasted” was a great success at the intercounty girls blitz last Saturday. Thank you to everybody that helped get the place into shape.
A walking group will start at Emmett Park at 9:30am on Monday the 7th of April.
Our new website has been launched and can be found on www.lisnaskeaemmetts.com It will be updated regularly and will outline all club fixtures and results. Our new Youtube channel is up and running. Lourdes Fundraiser
Some of our underage players, who are also members of the Aghalurcher Parish John Paul II group, are asking for your help!
The young people are organising a coffee morning/bake sale on Sunday 13th April in St. Ronan’s Parish Centre, Lisnaskea, beginning at 11.45am. They are trying to raise some funding for their upcoming trip to Lourdes. They have kindly volunteered to help with the pilgrims on the trip who are in need of assistance. Your support would be greatly appreciated
There will be a safeguarding course on the 16th of April at the clubrooms. If you are working with children you MUST do this course.
There will be a boot swap going over the next few weeks. Bring down old outgrown boots and pick up a pair if you need them. There are several items of lost property to be claimed also. Contact the Communications officer to claim yours. Pictures are on Socials
We have a new Youtube channel @LisnaskeaEmmettsGAC have a look and subscribe! Any members with old VHS/DVD footage of Scor, Games etc can you please contact Collie McGirr colinmcgirr@gmail.com to arrange to upload your footage. It’ll be a fantastic resource. Thanks to Collie for organising.
